I.S.T.D. Exam Classes

We have daily classes in modern theatre, tap, and classical ballet from primary to advanced level. These classes are syllabus-based and work towards exams with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. This is a government recognised board of dance examiners.

We hold exam sessions throughout the year, and so far have achieved a fantastic 100% pass rate with every child receiving an A or B result. For children not wishing to take formal exams we hold in-house exams where children are assessed and receive a certificate before moving up to the next grade. Both the I.S.T.D. exams and the in-house assessment promote a feeling of achievement for the student and every student is encouraged to reach their potential.

Jazz classes are very popular lessons where we teach the latest steps to the latest music. Dance like your favourite pop star in these non-exam based fun classes.

Showstars is a performance based class of predominantly dance which also incorporates drama and singing. Students are offered the chance to take part in festivals and performances throughout the year.

Cheerleading a fun class for girls and boys learning cheers and chants and specified cheerdance from UKCA (United Kingdom Cheerleading Asociation) guidelines. Great fun, good for building confidence and team spirit.

Streetdance is a great fun class suitable for boys and girls. A funky pumping style of dance to learn all the coolest moves.

Breakdance is a funky freestyle class for boys and girls learning the latest 'breakin' moves.

Funky Monkeys

This is an exclusively designed programme for boys and girls aged 1-5 yrs incorporating ballet, tap, modern and jazz. Through these specially tailored classes we aim to develop motor skills, coordination, musicality, spatial awareness, balance and creativity to help build a strong foundation of key skills and to enhance your little one's abilities. One year olds start Funky Monkeys in the foundation stage accompanied by a parent or carer. They then progress through the programme developing skills and building confidence. At school age children can choose to move on to further classes depending on their favoured styles.
