Miss Mel and Miss Christine have had a very busy start to the year with their ongoing commitment to learning.  Huge congratulations to Miss Mel who has received her CDE certificates from the ISTD and also completed a NDTA qualification for teaching dance in schools. She is now commencing her studies for the ISTD licentiate qualification with a view to being able to offer the FDI and CDE qualifications from Starlight.  Both Christine and Mel have recently refreshed their First Aid knowledge on a course specially designed for dance teachers, and to top it off have both just become qualified Cheerleading and Cheer dance coaches with the UKCA, the UK's leading body for cheerleading.  Following on from this Miss Christine has also been in talks between the UKCA and the Rugby Football League (RFL) helping to standardise cheerleading throughout Rugby games in the UK.  Look out for our new cheer class starting after half term!
